'Taxis 'arrangement' + Derma 'skin' explores the Victorian era's existing stance on the concept of mortality and death. As we see our modern society become increasingly more materialistic our lives start to hold less emphasis on spirituality and acceptance; and more on the fear of the unknown.

In her first solo exhibition, Quirky Bones use's traditional acrylics and the recycling; and reinventing of the material of cardboard to focus this series on creating a positive dialogue between ourselves and our own perception of mortality, whilst celebrating the beauty behind impermanence.
